PICK UP AND RETURN POLICY AND INSTRUCTIONS
FOR CLIENT SELF MOVES

Pick up and return are 109 Iber Road, Unit 6. Hours available for either pick up or return (by appointment only) are between 11 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday.

An appointment has to be made for pick up and for returning inventory so that we have an available shipping and receiving dock.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PICK UP

If your order is paid in full 48 hours before your scheduled time, we will have all items picked and ready for you to wrap, package and load onto your vehicle.

We (client and get refurnished) will inspect the pieces prior to you moving them from Get ReFurnished’s warehouse and we will have a waiver to sign that will indicate any damage or wear that we see on the rental pieces to avoid any potential issues. This is for our mutual protection. Once you begin to transfer the furniture to your vehicle the furniture is your responsibility.

Any further damage discovered must be reported immediately and Get ReFurnished will determine the next steps. A photograph is required and must be emailed to info@getrefurnished.ca within 24 hours.

MOST INVENTORY IS DISASSEMBLED. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO ASSEMBLE AND RETURN THEM AS THEY WERE PICKED UP. DAMAGE OCCURS WHEN WE DON’T USE PROPER TOOLS. THIS WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY UNSAFE OR DAMAGING TRANSPORTATION METHODS. BLANKETS NEED TO BE USED UNDER ITEMS AND WE DO NOT PERMIT ANY DRAGGING OR PUSHING OF ITEMS ALONG TRUCK FLOORS. WE DO NOT ALLOW UNCOVERED ITEMS TO BE TRANSPORTED IN OPEN VEHICLES.

Please bring your own wrapping, packing and security materials for all furnishings you are renting. Please bring your own help to move the furnishings as Get ReFurnished staff is not able to assist with self-moves.

PLEASE NOTE, some inventory items are not available for self-moves and those are indicated upon the online order check out.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURN

Please make an appointment to return your rental inventory by calling us at 613-862-7585 or via info@getrefurnished.ca.

You must return your items by the end of your rental period to avoid being charged for an additional rental period of one month. Please allow ample time (one week) to make this arrangement with Get ReFurnished. Any rush orders are subject to an emergency fee.

The reverse process of the pickup procedure is completed including the examination of items and signatures on paperwork.
